Bomb blasts: A lesson to Nigerian leaders - Pastor Bakare

 By Isaac Shobayo
Convener of the Save Nigeria Group, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has said that the bomb blasts that rocked Abuja on October 1 were an indictment on the Nigerian security agents and a lesson to Nigerian leaders.
This is even as the former Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, declared that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was no longer a political party but a franchise.
Addressing newsmen, on Tuesday, shortly after the launching of Save Nigeria Group, Plateau State chapter, Pastor Bakare said it was rather unfortunate that Britain and America warned the country in advance and yet Nigeria ignored the warning.
“It is a pity that it took Britain and America to warn us about the bombs and yet they were not able to detect them until they went off.
“It is unfortunate that there was a bomb blast on that day (October 1) and it is a clear indication that things were not just right. With all the security on the ground, yet such things happened is an indictment on our leaders that there are still a lot of aggrieved people who are ready to be used for any evil intention,” he stated.
