Yusuf drags club to FIFA

By EMMA NJOKU
Nigeria defender, Yusuf Mohammed, has told a press conference in Sudan that he will explore all possibilities including reporting Al Hilal to FIFA after the Sudanese giants ignored him on his return to the club.
In January at the Africa Cup of Nations in Angola, the former Enyimba right fullback signed an agreement to rejoin Al Hilal from Swiss side, FC Sion.

The agreement was for a total of $600,000 to be paid to him, this will be made up of a signing-on fee and salary for six months.
Mohammed suffered an Achilles tendon injury in Angola that needed surgery in South Africa before he could join Al Hilal.

However, Mohammed and his agent, Michael Coker, were in Sudan for 12 days, and failed to meet with any official of Al Hilal over his return to the club.

A top source said that even though Mohammed expressed his respect for both Al Hilal and their president, Salah Idriss, his agent said they would now seek redress after the cold shoulder they received in Sudan.
The player is now expected to ask FIFA to compel Al Hilal to pay him what they agreed in January and thereafter terminate the contract to allow him move to another club in the summer transfer window.
