World Cup finalists to play out friendly in South Africa

World Cup finalists Nigeria and North Korea will meet in a friendly in Johannesburg on 6th June, a spokesman has confirmed.

The Nigerian Football Federation announced the fixture, which will take place in the Makhulong Stadium just five days before the World Cupkicks off.

The announcement also revealed the Super Eagles' plans to fly out from their current base in London to Durban on Monday ahead of the tournament in South Africa.
Nigeria kick-off their fourth World Cup campaign on 12th June while North Korea, participating in only their second World Cup, begin their tournament three days later against five-time winners Brazil.
